Saturday Styling

So today seems like one of those lovely autumn days when it's almost warm enough to forget about winter for a bit. In honour of this treat today I'm posting one of my favourite late summer looks:

My shorts are from TK- Maxx and I've had them for about four years ha-ha £5. The shirt is stolen from my little sister (shh :p) I think it's New Look and the waistcoat again I've had for about four years it's New Look kids selection. Then the gorgeous boots were kindly donated to me by my friend Sharon (thank you) :) Bracelet from Espania and necklace from the boyfriend <3

I miss it being warm enough to wear outfits like this already~ although I am planning to wear this in the coming months just teemed with opaque tights and a warm jacket :)

Hell for leather ;)

Today I'm alll about looking for the perfect leather 'motorcycle' jackets- the perfect transition piece for when it's not quite cold enough for a coat but too chilly for just a jumper. I'm obsessed with my own leather jacket, I must have warn it about 999 times since I brought it about 2 years ago, as it's black though I'm currently looking for either a grey, brown or cream one to go alongside it.

Comfort Clothing

So I'm feeling ridiculously ill at the moment and all I'm craving is warm comfy clothes to curl up and mope in.  I've searched all afternoon (between feeling sorry for myself and napping) for the most appealing items around and here they are:

Had to show off my new H+M skirt I'm in love with it ha-ha

I've searched for ages for a skirt that actually fits tight against my waist so this in all its -can barely breathe- glory was a godsend :p. The crop top I've had a while now and it honestly goes with everything, it's also mercifully loose so you can eat/breathe/expand in it. As for the shoes they were my prom shoes and are drop dead gorgeous but equally drop dead impractical. They murder my poor toes ha-ha. But I guess the no pain no gain cliché  can be applied here coz they are killer at making my legs elongate ;p

I love love this last picture it was a complete fluke that I didn't realise was been taken but it ended up showing the clothes of the best out of all of them lmao

As we approach Autumn and the temperature inevitably drops, the search for toasty clothes to huddle up in becomes our new obsession. As we head into that transitional period between last minute summer warmth and proper winter cold - layering is a chic and comfortable way to keep the cold at bay.
