New In : Volume Nine

Wow hello everyone! Remember me? 

I wouldn't if I were you - I've been absent for way too long!

 Thanks very much for all your emails/tweets checking I was ok - I'm absolutely fine, life in all it's 'must finish this work now' glory just got in the way of blogging but I'm back now, and ready to introduce you to some gorgeous picks from this weeks 'New-in high-st section'

Let's start with...

Miss Selfridge

I'm actually really into Miss Selfridge at the moment. Sure their prices are a little steep I think generally the quality makes it worth it. The drop waist jersey DRESS is just so me it's super relaxed and slouchy but also with the right accessories would look really pulled together. Talking of accessories,  how gorgeous is that CLUTCH? I always forget how classy monochrome looks and that is no exception. Then there's the SHADES which I think would add the perfect edge to dress number one. Finally, if you're still feeling Pastels for summer both the TOP and the SKIRT above would be gorgeous sugar-toned additions to your wardrobe. 

Topshop

Despite typically steep pricing Topshop does offer the occasional piece that is either A)Well worth the money or B)A surprise 'bargain'. I actually think this gorgeous SKIRT falls into both categories - it's a little more than I'd usually pay but with the retro vibe + gorgeous cut I think it's worth it, I'd team it with a silky oversized tee and leather jacket for a real vintage feel. The JACKET really needs no more explanation than me saying 'I want to be a pink lady' I absolutely adore it. The CAT-EYES however, are totally my favourite piece here - I've been lusting after a pair for about two years now thanks to Dita Von Teese. Speaking of Dita I can totally imagine her wearing the PLAYSUIT with her perfect porcelain complexion. Lastly, to top off all outfits these EARRINGS, RING and multi chain NECKLACE would see you right through summer.

Own The Runway

Own The Runway have been creating quite a name for themselves lately and with pieces like these it's not hard to see why. I absolutely love the striped SHIRT, such a cute take on classic pipe detailing, I'm dying to pair it with a black flared skirt and these gorgeous RED PUMPS. The DOTTY DRESS is another favourite of mine - just look at that silhouette, teamed with those BLACK BOOTIES and a bright clutch you'd have a gorgeous night-time outfit. The relaxed mix of floral and denim is such a favourite of mine making this DRESS perfect to me - I'd team with the BLACK FLATS and an oversized scarf for a real off-duty look.

H&M

Lastly we have H&M. I can definitely sense a 'holiday' feel from this brand - just look at those beach ready SHORTS, HAT, SHADES and DAY DRESS. Perfect for mixing and matching on your holibobs. For the meantime however they're channelling lady-like glamour with this gorgeous PENCIL SKIRT which I think would be perfect for weddings, christenings, family parties and even a day at the races! To top off your look why not pick from these gorgeous array of EARRINGS you'll have a pair perfect for every occasion.
