I know I know, we all thought the time of rainy day drudgery was behind us as we head into may ... and then this lovely weather front swings in and plunges us back into puddles of despair.
Fear not though, with a trusty welly to keep your tootsies toasty and dry:
And a few ways to dress them up for a blast of rainy-day chic:
Rich bohemian tones will instantly warm up a dreary chilly day. Ox-blood tights and rich textured scarves dress up this Gothic glam romwe number to perfection. Top off with a cute little bag and layer on the accessories.
Simple skinny jeans tucked into boots is the easiest chic look to master. Top with a funky overized jumper + tassled waist-coat for a look which combines bohemian, casual and rock n roll elements. Pull together with a sassy clutch and pretty and practical (no more frizzy hair) hat.
Outfit three is possibly the simplest to chuck on. Layer up the jumper, waist-coat and leggings to ensure a completely cosy look. The gorgeous red hat adds a pop of colour whilst the Zara tote and chunky ring add a luxury element with a rock n roll twist.

I have a trusty pair of wellies that accompany me to every music festival, but I'd rather they stuck with the fields than I have to wear them daily. Wish the weather'd sort itself out!
ReplyDeleteIt's difficult to be chic in rainy weather! Love cute rain boots, though. I really need to get some. I'm short on them!
