Get Lippy : My MUA obsession

Hello ladies! Now, unless you've been hiding under a rock (tempting sometimes I know) you're bound to have heard of MUA - the fab budget friendly make-up line sold in Superdrug that everyone is currently raving about. With prices beginning (and generally hovering) at just £1.00 MUA's range is absolutely fabulous for us girls on a budget.

Now, as you all know I'm well and truly a lipstick addict and recently my MUA collection has overtook any other brand in my make-up bag.
Let's have a look why:

 L to R
'Lipstick Shade 6' | 'Lipstick Shade 1' | 'Lipstick Shade 16' | 'Lipstick Shade 13' | 'Lipstick Shade 3' | 'Lipstick Shade 11'

Left -'Shade 11'
A gorgeous neutral toned lippy that is far less pigmented that it appears in the photograph. Easily subtle enough for the most relaxed day to day look it can be layered for a slightly more intense look. Perfect for a 'nude' lipped look.

Right - 'Shade 3'
This lipstick is just pure fun. It's very 'barbie' and gives you a real hot pink pout. It's one of the more pigmented and stronger colours in the range and really does pop. It's creamy consistency  however allows it to feel light and prevents lip drying. One of my ultimate favourites - teaming it with a simple cat-eye flick makes me feel very sixties chic!

Left -'Shade 1'
My real favourite of the collection, think Gwen Stefani, think Dita Von Teese and think retro glamour. An absolutely gorgeous and long lasting deep red lip that wouldn't look out of place on a red-carpet.

Right -'Shade 3'
Think Gwens' slightly younger, fresher sister. Less bombshell and more Sex Kitten. This is a lovely take on the classic red lip - I find it's refreshingly bright yet somehow not as heavy and dramatic. I'd wear this for a pop of daytime colour whereas 'Shade 1' I'd save for after dark.

Left - 'Shade 6'
A delight of a lippie. A beautiful pretty pink with a princess like sheen that subtly shimmers upon application. Out of all the MUA range I think this has the look of a really expensive lippie as it combines sparkle and strong colour perfectly. I've worn this on a few trips out lately and it's been complimented every time.

Right - 'Shade 16'
One of MUA's newest shades, a fizzy coral that's just perfect for summer. Luckily this works just as well on fair skin-tones as on olive and I can't wait to rock it this Spring. It's quite matte and looks really beautiful as a statement lip but also super pretty with a very light dabbed application for a quick and subtle colour injection.

So there we have it. A little introduction to my MUA collection, what's your favourite shade?

Best Foot Forward : Le Bunny Bleu

Hello loves, hope you're all well!
A couple of weeks ago I was delighted to wake up to an email from the lovely Anezka from Le Bunny Bleu.

Le Bunny Bleu is a super cute company that provides us girls with arguably the most important things in our life - shoes!
Launched in New York in 2009 Le Bunny Bleu have deservedly enjoyed a whole lotta success over the last few years and have recently expanded into the UK opening a store in the fabulous Westfield centre in good old London Town.

Specialising in flat shoes (proving that your tootsies can be both comfortable and stylish) Le Bunny Bleu have a fabulously wide range of products including Ballet Flats, Oxfords, Sandals, Boots and more.

As part of my collaboration with Le Bunny Bleu I was invited to choose a pair of shoes to review for you all and I'm sure you can imagine my excitement.
Despite being tempted by pretty much all of their range I eventually settled on this beautiful pair:

Beautiful no? They can be found here if you're as drawn to them as I was.

Now, onto the important business - how I found them.

Initial Reaction
Upon opening the perfectly packaged (my that sounds rude!) parcel , I must confess I was a little taken aback at how much darker the shoes appear in 'real life' opposed to on the website. This is not a negative as I happen to adore oxblood coloured shoes and feel that having a darker tone makes the shoes look even more luxurious. However, it may be something to bare in mind if you are purchasing with a very specific coloured shoe in mind.
Overall I would say : 3/5

Fit
As someone who's shoe size seems to differ like the rest of my body (I can vary between a UK 4.5 - 6 despite my official size being a 5 ) I plumped for the size 5 with a slight degree of trepidation, however I'm pleased to say the shoes fit like a dream. I'd definitely say they run true to size and quite generously at that.
Overall I would say : 5/5

Appearance
Definitely one of the more 'high end' looking pairs of flats I own. The material used in the Le Bunny Bleu shoes is both luxurious and appealing. From the delicious patent sheen to the super cute bow on the tip of the toes the shoes definitely convey an air of luxury which I love. Le Bunny Bleu also helpfully provide you with a handy little gadget to slide into your shoes to keep them nice and in shape whilst you're not wearing them.
Overall I would say 5/5

Comfort
Ah. The big one! As someone who works predominately in a Primary school, comfort is what I'm all about! I need shoes that fit and fit well. No rubbing or squeezing please! Le Bunny Bleu certainly  tick the first requirement perfectly, the shoes moulded to my feet in a way that made it feel I'd worn them many times before which was lovely. However, as they're such firm material I did find that towards the end of my first venture my little toes did start to feel a little sore. However, I'm pretty confident that within 2/3 wears these will be an absolute go-to pair in my wardrobe.
Overall I would say 4/5

Price
As a champion of budget friendly buying there is no way I'd have featured Le Bunny Bleu if I didn't deem their pricing entirely reasonable. With none sale prices beginning at around £28.00 and averaging £35.00 I feel they'd fit well with any budget.
Overall I would say 4/5

Lastly, here is how they look on:

And here's how I'm planning to style them next time:

A Preppy jumper to work with the shoes Gossip girl feel, a cargo skirt to add a little edge with gold detailing similar to the shoes gorgeous bow, and a buttery satchel bag to pull it all together.

Outfit Post to follow I'm sure!

If you've been inspired by todays post and would like to check out Le Bunny Bleu for yourselves you can do so HERE or by clicking on any of the links above.
Have a lovely day chicks and remember - Best foot forward ;)

New In : Volume Four

Hello beauties! Yep, it's that time again! Monday morning - urgh!  However, Monday Morning on fashionismyh2o = New in time so hopefully that'll cheer you lovelies up a little bit!

Here's what I've discovered this week:

Dorothy Perkins
Very summery influence over at Dotty P's! Gorgeous prints and on trend peplums mixed with sherbetty shades and a bag that looks like it'd be just perfect on the beach. Bring on Summer holidays I say - all you need to top this lot off is a tan, an ice lolly and a pair of shades!

H&M
 ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR |
H&M have gone all girly! From gorgeous classic shift dresses in shades that wouldn't look out of place in an icecream parlour, to super pretty flat shoes fit for a princess. Topped off with the cutest of cute satchels and then rocked up a little bit with that super fierce statement jewellery.

Topshop
 ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR |
I'm a little bit in love with this weeks Topshop picks! Combining my love of patterns - bang on trend Aztec prints, with a real hint of rock n roll - that gorgeous long cami would look uhmazing over my new leather leggings right? And then finishing off with a very Gossip Girl esque touch of vintage handbag glam, and a summery pop of colour. Top marks Topshop!

So there we are honey's my picks from this weeks new-in section! What're you lusting after?

Currently Craving : Part Two

Oh yeah, it seems that the last little lust list I complied (which you can see HERE) just wasn't enough for me and my fashion  loving/needing/dying over brain.
Oh no.
There's even more stuff around that we're just wanting.

Basically these:

ONE
My addiction with black lace, it seems, will never die. Ever since I saw the Alice Cooper Poison video "Black Lace~ On Sweat~"  I was hooked. Granted I'll never look the model in the vid but I intend to have a damn good go and this baby would help me on my way. All together now "I wanna love you but I better not touch..."

I may already have a jumper in this shade. That is not the point. The point is that everything from the colour, to the cut to the sleeves to the fit is just perfect. I want this for over a long vest and leggings on a slob day, or tucked into a leather skirt (like three in fact!) on a good day. Please, please, please, thank-you, please!

This is just perfect. I could pretty much stop here and not say anything else. Of course, it's me so I've got to gush but DURR the picture speaks for itself. It'd go with anything, look FAB with anything and uh, yeah, I need it in my life. Quick-time.

FOUR
Who doesn't want feathers wrapped around their wrists? Such a gorgeous and unique piece of jewellery, it'd look perfect in summer teamed with a floaty maxi based outfit or hot-pants and a sheer shirt. Super pretty and super fly! (Get it - feathers - birds - fly-) I disown myself!

Yeah it's that bag again! You can't blame me, it's just everything I want in a bag. Black, Chained, rock n roll, practical. It'd go with anything and I'd be pretty happy if it was topping of my outfits sometime soon!

SIX
BOOHOO YOU KILLZ ME. Like seriously. These bad boys are just begging to be brought, I want them with leather leggings, with denim cuttofs, with denim cuttofs AND tights, with dresses, with skinny jeans, with ... you get the picture. I just want them. A little bit of leopard goes a LONG way. Justification right?!

And breathes.
I hate my bank account right now.
What're you lovelies lusting after?
Make me feel better ha-ha!

New In : Volume Three

Hello lovelies, hope you're all well today, it's all go at fashionismyh2o at the mo! Preparations for Mr h2o's birthday are in full swing along with some very very exciting blog related ventures to announce soon!
Happy days!

Hope you're all well and that you've had a lovely weekend. To cheer you up from Monday morning mourning, I've got this weeks top picks from the new in section of the good ole High-St!

Let's go see:

TOPSHOP
ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR |
I think Topshop have taken this seasons 'Pretty in Pastel' memo and absolutely ran with it. All of these pieces are soft toned perfection. The pencil skirt is formal enough for a work setting yet cute enough for date night. The silk top (which has a gorgeous detailed back) would work with pretty much anything, and how cute is that clutch?! Then to top(shop) it all off - the nails! Good enough to eat!

H&M
ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR |
H&M have gone all fruity ;)! Minds out of the gutter please, how CUTE are those earings? I'm definitely going to pick a pack up tonight I think (utter steal at £2.99!) The gold jumper would look very 'riviera' with white skinny jeans for spring/summer. Then that satchel bag is the perfect injection of colour to these dreary pre-spring days, whilst that classic skirt would make getting dressed for work almost fun!

WAREHOUSE
Prints ahoy at Warehouse! I don't know about you but I'm dying for that gorgeous nautical style tee to team with skinny jeans / denim cut-offs? The black banded skirt is just HOT whilst the brown bag and mini clutch look incredible luxurious - a real pop of designer Esque glamour at fairly reasonable prices! Definitely my pay day treat destination!

BOOHOO
ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR |
Firstly, hello Lita a likes! How you doin? Good? Good! Get in my wardrobe! Ahem, moving on, gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous? Skater dresses are the ultimate for flattering and balancing, showing off nipped in waists and skimming larger hips (hello chocolate I'm looking at you!) Then the orange tote would look 'totes' amaze with a LBD. Very VB!

What are you after this week? Will any of you be hitting the high-st to snap up any of the above? Let me know!

Three Ways to wear : Jewell toned dress

Hello lovelies, hope you're well! Today I have for you another 'ways to wear' post all based around this utterly beautiful dress that caught my eye the other day :

Now it's a tad pricey for Fashionismyh2o's usual budget buys, but it's just so damn gorgeous I couldn't resist it! Just look at that colour!

Here's how you could style it:

Outfit One
To me this look seemed a little Olivia Palermo, a little fashion intern (brave one with those heels but)? It's incredibly put together but in a real effortless way. The shoes are just beyond amazing (and only £32) whilst the blazer is so structured and flattering and the shades (yes them again) the ring, and the clutch all tie this look together. Team with tanned pins and a soft coral lipstick for instant springtime style!

Outfit Two
Bring out your inner festival chic with this gorgeous outfit. The fringed waist-coat is the ultimate in bohemian cool whilst the ridiculously cute ankle boots add an element of playfulness. The bag is just gorgeous and topped off perfectly with that chain, whilst the rings would finish off the look and add a real tough edge to such a pretty dress.

Outfit Three
Slightly preppy, slightly Carrie Bradshaw esque. Outfit number three could take you from the shops to the cocktail bar in style. The wedges would be incredibly flattering and leg elongating, whilst the clutch pulls the outfit together and ties in with the nipped in waist. The accessories are then piled on to pep the outfit up and add some night time sparkle!

There we are then honeys! A couple of cute ways to style this beautiful dress!
How would you wear it?

New In : Volume Two

Hi dolls, hope you're all well! I hate Mondays with a passion but  I'm trying to be positivo today! Let's see how long it lasts!

It's such a weird time to be doing these 'New In' posts as I just find the variation on what's on offer at the moment so huge! A typical 'page' of new in clothes contains half fur coats and half bikini's at the moment ... and I'm not sure about you but it confuses my brain!

As a result I've tried to keep these selections as balanced as possible - a little spring time indulgence mixed with more practical picks for the chilly snap that just wont seem to go away.

Hope you enjoy!

H&M
 ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR |
I knew there was a reason H&M was my favourite shop! Cosy knits, super cute unique jewellery and luxurious looking blouses they're coming up trumps at the moment. In particular I'm dreaming about number four teamed with skinny cigarette pants and killer heels. Oh, and then you have those fabulous sunglasses to really make your outfit pop. Very Fearne Cotton I feel!

TOPSHOP
 ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR |
Topshop seem to be an amalgamation of mermaid and rock-star at the moment. I love it. Metallics definitely seem to be sticking around which I'm frankly thrilled about! How gorgeous would that skater skirt look with black tights + boots, and how fabulous would that top look with leather leggings and killer heels for a girls night out? Diiivine. Oh and those earrings are just CUTE.

NEW LOOK
 ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR |
New look went a bit hit and miss last year but lately they've been absolutely wow'ing me again! I love the loafers and the floral skirt especially, I feel like they'd look absolutely amazing together with some black tights in winter + bare legs in summer (hurry up PLEASE!) The bird print top is just super cute and the parka...well the parka is just >cool<.

SELECT
 ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR |
I'm gonna be honest with you here, I always used to stay away from shops like Select fearing they were just full of ... tat. But when you dig through the more synthetic cheaper stock they do have some pretty gorgeous steals. Both of these pairs of boots would be just perfect for all seasons - skinny jeans and layers in the cold + pretty dresses or denim cut-offs in the warm. Bellisimo!

ARK CLOTHING
ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR |
Definitely a shop that's wow'ing me at the moment. Their stock feels quite unique, obviously it's high-st lead but they seem to offer something just a little different which I really love. The crop top especially feeds into my love of aztec print and vintage style, whilst that tote bag is 'totes' classic (couldn't help myself, sorry!)

That's this weeks New-in then folks <3 hope you like!
What shops impressing you at the moment?
