Obsession : Skull print

My name is Sarah and in a past life I was a pirate.
Either that or a gravedigger.
I am obsessed with skulls ; jewellery, scarves and clothing alike.

The latest addition to my pirate booty box is this New look kids tee above. I snapped it up a couple of weeks back for my venture to the Cornish coast. I must say it felt even better to wear it in it's natural environment ;).

If you share my slightly grizly obsession then I've hunted down some great budget options for you:

Are you a fan of skulls?

SoYouShoes

I have a confession. Sometimes I like to pretend I'm a celebrity. Doesn't really matter who, doesn't really matter why, I just love to put on some killer heels (optional sunglasses) and pretend I'm cool for a while.

Of course, I'm sure you're all really aware I am not cool and I am certainly not a celebrity. But when SoYouShoes contacted me with the chance of reviewing these babies I sensed and opportunity to indulge.

SoYouShoes are a fab website based company that aim to provide not only an amazing selection of shoes but excellent customer service too. With prices beginning at just £12.00 the company offer something for everyone and I'm happy to champion them on this super budget conscious blog.

I chose to review the very Victoria Beckham / Kim Kardashian style black pointed stiletto style heels which you can find HERE it was a tough choice as there's a huge range to select from butthe chance to act like Kim K for half an hour was too much to pass up and whilst I might not have the booty I certainly had the strut.
(With the wall to help me of course - I am only an amateur)

Let's check them out:

I'll definitely be heading back for more next time my celeb craving becomes too strong.
Let me know if you'll be checking the site out too!

Newquay Photo's!

Ahh looking back through these makes me sad! Last weekend me and my boyfriend (or my boyfriend and I if we're being correct!) Dissapeared down to Newquay for a much needed mini-break. We did as typical Brits do on holiday : Ate big breakfasts, walked a lot, marvelled at 'the sun omg', dipped our toes in the sea and got slightly sunburnt (me) and very sunburnt (him). It was absolutely amazing in all ways and I very much enjoyed it. Now, look at this gorgeous weather we're having here... perfect time to go back to the seaside no?

I want to be a Nasty Gal

One
The perfect hint of this summer Aztec print in a super subtle way. I'd team this with a cropped leather jacket when the temperature dipped and finish off with a stack of bangles like the model.

A little eighties in all the right ways. I'd team with a kimono in summer and a biker in winter. Tights would also work but for now I'd be sticking to bare legs and some high-tops for a fab casual chic look.

The prettiest tank top I've seen all year. Perfect over shorts a'la model, jeans, leggings, layered over a LBD or tucked into a high waist skirt. So many options all of them gorgeous.

The dramatic diva dress. perfect for wowing, for being a show-stopper. Teamed with super high courts in nude or ox-blood this puts the vamp in vampish. Ethereal enough for summer but tough enough for winter. A great alternative to a 'classic' LBD.

Elvis has left the building. White leather doesn't have to be cringey. This is the ultimate : feminine yet fierce as f***. Layer this over anything from jeans and a tee to your favourite night out outfit.

A little rock and roll glamour. Slightly kitsch and very cool. I'd team with a simple vest and killer heels for a casual drink date with a difference. Rock on.

Safe to say Nasty Gal turned the heat up on my already boiling hot day.
Now please can all of this be mine?

*This is not a sponsored post, I just think these clothes are hot.

Char- Cole : A little review

Hello beauties hope you are well.
I have a confession for you : I am a total bracelet addict.
Stacks and stacks grace my wrists, my jewellery box and let's face it every available surface I can find.

It's pretty serious.

Imagine my excitement then, when the gorgeous Charli from Secrets Behind The Closet Door (Check her out she's amazing) got in touch to say she was launching a little jewellery company (with bracelets!) I was so excited.

Char-cole jewellery is Charli's little project that consists of making gorgeous jewellery by hand and selling it on for prices so reasonable I might just go back and buy the whole lot.

Here's the gorgeous bracelet (of course) I chose:

You can find this specific piece HERE
and you can find all of Charli's gorgeous stock HERE

I'd definitely urge you to take a peep, they're perfect pieces for holiday wardrobes -super cute and super affordable.

Thanks Charli!

Monday Morning Must Have : H&M bargains

Hello lovelies!
Hope you're all well, I'm absolutely exhausted from driving back from Newquay still : god knows how it's been three days!
Thanks to a combination of my boyfriends chilled out driving and a very useful Sat-nav we got back in one piece albeit a sleepy one.

To cheer me up from my post holiday blues and you lot up from your Monday morning blues I have some amazing bargains to share with you from good ole H&M.

Let's have a look:

As you can see I think my H&M addiction is well and truly justified for once! You can grab the top HERE - it really reminds me of the gorgeous Halston Herritage line (at a fraction of the price!) and the super pretty skirt HERE.

Let me know if you snap one up, I think they'll both be perfect for summer cocktails or holiday strolling.

Summer Nails with Barry M

Number 307 in 'Lemon Ice Cream' by Barry M is definitely one of those perfect summer shades. It glides on super easily and only needs two light coats (or one thick coat if you're more competent than me) to offer complete opaque coverage.

I'd say this shade would look beautiful with a range of skin-tones as both me (super pale) and my sister (olive/tanned) have worn this and it's turned out pretty nice. Adding the perfect edge to a simple outfit of jeans and a top or a real pop of colour to a LBD I'm definitely super chuffed this is in my summer collection.

Best of all it's just £2.99 and you can grab yours HERE or pick it up from Boots.

What do you lovelies think?
What's your favourite summer shade?

Ten Under Ten : Summer Bargains

Hello lovelies, hope you're all having a lovely Sunday! As sunday is officially bargain day I've scoured the high-street for some incredibly purse-friendly steals for you all. Ten under a tenner in fact. Let's have a look what we've got:

Firstly we have this gorgeous printed SKIRT so ladylike and elegant I can't believe how cheap it is. Then the beautiful two toned TEE which would look perfect over leggings or shorts anywhere. Then there's the SHOES which would be great for slipping on with a cute little dress when the sun finally decides to show. Lastly the RINGS and BRACELETS would add a gorgeous bohemian edge to any outfit.

In this little set we have a fab band TEE which'd be perfect for any summer festival along with those bright and super cute SHORTS. Top the outfit off with some gorgeous patent FLATS for a look that's very rock n roll but still put together. Or, go girly with the pastel toned super pretty SCARF or retro with the funky PURSE which would brighten up any outfit. I'd team with an LBD and lots of jewellery and raybans. Hurry up Summer!

Hope you enjoy lovelies. What's your favourite?

Obsessed : Missguided Asymmetric frocks

ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR

Lately I've had a massive 'thing' for asymmetric hems - I like to think it's because I love something a little unique rather than it being due to me being rather unbalanced ;).

Upon browsing the Missguided website last night I came across these beauties. Perfect for a range of occasions : Weddings, garden parties, summer holidays, festivals or nights out (basically everything) I just had to share.

The floral patterning really adds something special to the dipped hem design and I think you could either go super girly with these or toughen them up with leather jackets and boots for a really fab glam grunge look.

At under £30.00 a pop they're well worth investing in and I'm personally torn between adding either number one or two to my summer wardrobe.

What's your take on these dresses lovelies? Do you like the asymmetry or do you prefer more traditional style dresses?
